The Good: It's gorgeous. The colors look real. It's light blonde with what appear as caramel-colored lowlights.That's what I wanted as my real hair is pale blonde. It's more wavy than curly, especially after you brush it. The length is close to the picture as it goes to about mid-back on me (I'm around 5'4").The Not So Good: The hair on top is very shiny and looks like doll hair. The part isn't wide enough to be realistic. The elastic band inside the cap to tighten the fit of the cap keeps coming unhooked. The bangs are sewn onto the cap straight across, instead of tilted to the side. This means the bangs hand straight down...and they reach my chin.Here's how to fix it: To dull the unrealistic shine, sprinkle a little of any kind of body powder on both your palms, rub palms together, then pat onto the top of the wig, moving your way down. Repeat until you're satisfied with the result. I had to do it 3 times until I thought it looked like real hair. It will still have a slight shine to it, but it'll look like healthy human hair...not hair that belongs to Barbie.As for the bangs, I tried swooping them to the side and they wouldn't stay, even when I tried to secure them with a bobby pin. You can't pull them over too tightly, or the wefts of the wig show. After trying several things, I finally cut them. Mind you, I know how to cut hair. If you don't know exactly how to cut hair, have a stylist do it! Please don't attempt to do it yourself. I also cut some long layers into the sides to give it more bounce.I'm still debating on what to do about the elastic band inside the cap. I'm either going to hot glue the hooks into place, or cut the elastic band altogether. I have an average-size head and I don't really think I have to have the band as I secure wigs with bobby pins.Overall, this is a decent wig. Not high-quality by any means, but at least it's workable. If you have the know-how and patience, the wig can be truly beautiful. I've worked on mine enough to make it wearable. It's very pretty, if not a little high-maintenance. Then again, we can all be a little high-maintenance sometimes. :) Good luck!The quality of this wig was overall very good, it holds its shape well and the fibers are nice, it doesn't tangle easily the way some synthetic fibers do. The reason I'm knocking it down to three stars is because it doesn't look like the picture, whatsoever. The way the part in the hair is on the wig is done in such a way that the hair loses volume up top. From some of the buyers' review pictures, you might be able to see what I mean, as it just falls flat and listless, and not anything like the way it sits in the picture. The way the fibers are tied into the cap there ensure no creative hair management is going to allow me to pull it up and out of the way of the eyes for a more natural part. Disappointing. I've had cheaper wigs that performed better on that note. On the plus side, as I've mentioned before, the quality of the hair itself is quite good and the colors are nice and multi-faceted -- instead of a monochrome piece, there's actually highlights and lowlights throughout for a pleasing honey color. If one doesn't mind how it falls at the front piece, with virtually no lift and kinda held hostage to the way its sewn in, you should find it good enough overall, but it wasn't what I was shooting for and would have preferred a more accurate picture. Next time I'll check the product reviews first!For the price this is a good deal. Sure, it's not the best wig in the world but it more than does the job without breaking the bank. I'm a drag performer so wigs are a necessary expense that can add up quickly when you are trying to present multiple looks during one show. I've seen some people give this product negative reviews. However, I believe that they are being unrealistic about things. They think that the wig should look amazing right out of the box and that will never happen. You'll have to break out at least a brush and some hairspray and bang it a bit. I you're going to wear wigs you should know how to style them at least minimally. Go to YouTube - you can learn how to do anything there including wigs - straight from a drag queens mouth.Cute little wig, and very easy to style. After the initial shed, it doesn't shed any more, or less, than other wigs I've purchased through Amazon. The highlights aren't quite like pictured, but still close enough that I'm not disappointed. The headcap is comfortable, and while wearing it, I forget it's a wig. My only complaint is that the bangs are a bit out of control, and rather long. I'm tempted to trim them up, but I feel it would completely destroy the aesthetic that this wig is going for, and I'm not a hair stylist by a long shot.For people not happy with the bangs, I've resorted to a couple of bobby pins. At least until I'm confident that I can use styling gel to get the bangs "cemented" out of my face. Even trying to use my glasses to keep the part doesn't work (the bangs drop right back into my eyes the moment I move or lean forward).Still, this is a nice wig, and I'm happy with the quality.For the price, the wig is pretty realistic and fantastic. I can confirm the bangs are long and may need to be trimmed depending on your face shape, and the part is not bad but not super realistic, so if that bothers you, wear a headband or hat. Side shot pic is straight out if the box with no wig cap, others after a bang trim and with a wig cap. I have a big head and way more hair than this wig lol, and it still stays on and looks good.The color is very pretty and the curls are soft. The hair itself is very nice and looks real - not too shiny or plastic-looking. However, the part is really obvious and looks a bit like Barbie hair at the top. The bangs are very, very long and there are a lot of them. I can't sweep them off to the side in any fashion that looks realistic or in a way that would stay. Basically, the bangs are super heavy and fall down to my nose. Debating whether I should go see my stylist to have them trimmed or if I should return it. This wig has lots of potential to be gorgeous if you work with it.Im trying to replicate the Britney Spears VMA performance look of Slave 4 u for a halloween outfit and this wig ticked all the boxes. Although a bit curlier than Britney's look this will look fantastic once everything is put together. The item was dispat hed within 24hours of mee ordering it and arrived a few days later. Happy customer!I love this wig, I practically wear it on a daily basis and everyone makes great comments. it makes me feel good wearing it as at the moment I do not have to best hair and am going through wigs to cover it up. however because I don't suit the fringe that the wig currently has I did cut it and it still looks good, it looks natural, sits and moves naturally, brushes well with a little shedding but I expect that and the curls stay inPurchased to go with the mannequin. Quick delivery and excellent value - can't tell from real hair - not wearing it myself, but wonder if it could be used as an everyday wig for spies and people who think the NHS supplied ones are awful.Did not suit me but my kids like dressing up in it.This was better than I expected, thank you
