You can obviously smell the honey in this face mask, and it is sticky like honey! It isn't as sticky as 100% honey but you can tell there is a good amount of honey used. I personally don't enjoy the smell of honey that much so this wasn't all that pleasant for me scent wise but I didn't mind it as it isn't a synthetic fragrance but a natural one. I had a small face brush that I used to apply on my face and would recommend setting aside a small spoon or brush for applying this. This is in a glass jar so in order to keep it clean I tried not to double dip unless it is with a clean spoon/brush - definitely did not use my fingers! It was a bit sticky and goopy but it is easy to spread all over the face. Due to the sticky consistency it is a bit hard to wash off so I used a sheet of facial cotton to wipe off, repeated it several times until my face was clean. This did have a stinging sensation on my face, especially around the more sensitive areas like my nose and chin. However, I believe that's the stuff working to remove sebum from my pores. I left it on for about 10-15 minutes as I couldn't stand the stinging for too long, and when I washed it off it did reveal brighter, cleaner, and softer skin. I could notice the difference because I slathered most of this on my nose, chin, and forehead area and those areas looked brighter, shinier, and softer than the rest of the face. The list of ingredients is short, which is great. I would say the only thing I wasn't too happy about is it has parabens, other than that, this is a great facial mask that works.Ingredients list:Organic Honey, Goat Milk, Organic Aloe Leaf Juice, Propanediol, Phenoxyethanol, Xanthan Gum, Organic Jojoba Seed Oil, Vitamin E, Organic Sunflower Seed Oil, Organic Oat Straw Extract, Organic Rosemary Leaf Extract, Glycerin, Organic Alcohol, Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate, Methyl Paraben, Propyl Paraben.I really really wanted to like this product. It has all these ingredients known to be soothing and moisturizing. But my skin started to sting/burn as soon as I put it on. So contrary to the listing, it didn't feel like a gentle exfoliation. It felt more like I was getting a chemical peel. The product does say it has ingredients in the mask to help with exfoliation but I didn't expect it to feel so uncomfortable. I decided to leave the mask on anyway and the burning sensation ultimately stopped after a few minutes. The mask somewhat dried but still felt sticky after I left it on for the full 20mins. It was difficult to wash off with bare hands so I used a warm wet washcloth. But as soon as I started washing it off, the burning sensation came back but not as intense. My skin looked good after I got the mask off. It wasn't red like I expected it to be due to the burning. I followed up with my usual toner and moisturizer. I'm not sure that this mask added any additional benefits to my skin. It also has a snot-like consistency that was kinda stringy when scooping out of the jar. So it can get messy if you scoop out too much at a time.I've used this for a couple of weeks but haven't noticed a difference. It is a little jar but a little does go a long way. I can't quite put my finger on the smell, kind of like a kid's paint. (Not overbearing though)I will add that I'm not using any other facial creams, wash, or moisturizers. I probably wouldn't buy again just because I'm not seeing any difference. (Not saying someone else wouldn't though)The only thing I did possibly see is I normally have about 2-3 pimples around that time of the month, I didn't this time. So, who knows, maybe this helped! The consistency is very different than any other mask I've used, a bit sticky, gooey, and a bit runny. I was afraid it would run into my eyes. It's a soft mask, not a hard one so don't it expect it to harden before washing off. I found this incredibly difficult to wash off with just water and my hands alone, it was so goopy! You need a wash cloth to get it all off. It did sting my face all over so I had to wash it off quite quickly. That being said it left no residual stinging after it was washed off or any redness. My skin felt super soft afterwards, so I will use again, but just around my problem areas and not my whole face. This Legend’s Creek Farm Premium Goat Milk Facial Mask with Oatstraw, Honey & Hydrating Vitamin E is a great...........cleansing mask! I grabbed it originally and applied it as a moisturizer and thought it was a very odd one. My bad! As a deep cleaning mask it is perfect. Smells great, feels great, and does a really good job cleaning skin with natural ingredients. Oatmeal, milk, and honey.....yummy! (Don't eat it!) Great ingredients made by a great company. Pick up this facial mask today! The honey mask is a bit hard to apply with fingers due to its thin dripping consistency but once you get a thin layer on your face, it feels spa-like with the prominent honey smell. The first few minutes felt tingly, most likely from the alcohol included in the ingredients. After washing off the mask, my skin felt hydrated, less red and some sebaceous filaments also surfaced.I wanted to love this product, but unfortunately I couldn't get past how difficult it was to remove and how sticky it was. Although my skin felt and looked nice, it is just too much trouble to use it.While in the end I really like this mask, the texture isn't exactly user friendly during application. Honey, being what it is, makes this very messy to scoop out of the jar and getting an even layer on your face isn't the easiest. That having been said, once on, it feels nourishing and it washes off quite easily with a soft, damp cloth. It left my skin feeling clean, soft and moisturized so while the process itself may not be the easiest or cleansest, the product itself is quite lovely.
